We conducted a workshop on weaving dreamcatchers with the boys at Sahyog on Friday afternoon. Using raw material like bangles, thread, ribbon, beads and feathers, the boys whipped up some beautiful and aesthetic designs on to their dreamcatchers.
According to native American cultures, a dreamcatcher is a handwoven object that captures dreams and allows only the good ones to travel through to this realm. We spoke to the boys about dreams and they shared some of their dreams- some scary and some really funny ones!
