We’re back in Jaipur after a year long break and are looking forward to another vibrant week of youth workshops at the Jaipur Litfest 2012.
For the past 4 years, we’ve been organizing workshops for young people from schools and NGOs in Rajasthan at the Litfest with different themes each year. Our first interaction with Jaipur through “Awaken the Young Citizen” epitomizes what we’ve been trying to do all along with young people. Since then through Hands on Habitat, Being Human, to Building Bridges and this year- Democracy Dialogues, we hope to empower more and more youngsters to take responsibility for their community and the nation.
We are very excited about the combination of people we’re getting to work with this year- from tribal youth, children rescued from bonded labour ,first generation Muslim girls to get access to education to students from various private schools in Jaipur.
