The Tehelka Foundation invites you to join our HANDS ON HABITAT programme on the occasion of World Environment Day on 5th June.
HANDS ON HABITAT is a conservation program that seeks to empower our generation to clean up and care for designated areas and to conserve biodiversity, appreciating the beauty and role of the tiniest microbes to the tallest trees.
As late additions to this complex and interdependent web of life that has been evolving for billions of years, we Humans CAN make a difference!
As a precursor to our “Monsoon Masti ” plantation drive, we invite you to a Walkathon organized by the Govt. Of NCT of Delhi in association with the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Govt. Of India, on 5th June, 2011 at India Gate Lawns between 6AM to 8:30 AM. The “walkathon” will start from India Gate Lawns and will end at Vijay Chowk.
Through the monsoons, we will be organizing Clean up drives, awareness campaigns and plantation drives at strategic locations in the city, which everyone can be part of. Register NOW to be part of the movement!
